July 11-13: Vermont Scenic Cluster Dog Show: Champlain Valley Exposition, Essex Junction, Vt., Come see a thousand dogs and 100 breeds at the three-day Vermont Cluster Dog Show. July 26: American Lung Association Strongman Competition. The 2008 NAS Green Mountain Strongman Challenge to benefit the American Lung Association of New England happening on Saturday, July 26, 2008. Some of the country’s strongest people will converge at the Champlain Valley Exposition, in Essex Jct., Vermont to put themselves against heavy, massive and at times immovable objects. NAS is the premier amateur strongman corporation in the world. Athletes can qualify for the North American Strongman Championships. Top two athletes in each weight class or division that is offered at the contest will receive an invitation to the NASM championships. Now you can also test your strength with the Amateur Firetruck Pull. See if you have what it takes to pull a 30k truck- 50ft harnessed and help raise funds for the American Lung Association.
